Service Delivery Model

Regardless of the domain, technology and service category, we pledge to remain accountable for whatever software project we execute. We seek to integrate and manage your IT investment, create a seamless transition, and rapidly deliver business value -- freeing your own people to focus on your core business and derive a competitive advantage from our relationship.

We work to understand your requirements and transfer the requisite knowledge. Then we design, develop and implement customized solutions to address your business problems and continue to provide life cycle support to maximize your return on investment. We perform each project through a judicious balance of onsite and offshore effort. The relative share of onsite and offshore work varies from case to case, but generally is as follows

  • Requirements Analysis and High-level Design are performed onsite with shared responsibility.
  • Low-level Design, Coding, Unit & Integration Testing are performed offshore.
  • Deployment and Acceptance Testing are generally performed onsite.
  • Warranty and Maintenance support are provided from offshore.

We assign a Client Relationship Manager to each client with responsibility for client satisfaction and to ensure all required resources are provided to the project teams. Our goal is to ensure seamless coordination between Hundsun and the client and between onsite and offshore resources.
 

In an offshore development center (ODC) engagement we implement service level agreements (SLA) for core service areas.


Engagement Model

We offer a flexible range of engagement models for our clients, depending on the type of project and budget. Considerations which guide our engagements are as follows:

  • Flexibility to engage us at any point of the software development life cycle.
  • Dedicated resources for the duration of the project.
  • Reduction in total cost of operations.
  • Transparency and schedule compliance.
  • Rapid ramp up and down capabilities.
  • Highly stable, process driven software development environment.
  • Strict Intellectual Property protection norms.
  • Ability to deploy onsite for client specific projects.


Pricing Model

We offer services based on the following pricing models:

  • Fixed price model:
    Here, we render services based on a Fixed Price that we quote while submitting our proposal to you. This model is suitable for projects where requirements are clearly defined. The Fixed Price includes all technical fees that we may charge towards delivering the project. Travel and incidental expenses (if any) are charged as per actual, subject to your pre-approval.
  • Time and material model:
    Here, you may utilize our resources and skills on a pre-agreed hourly or monthly rate, giving you the flexibility to balance your workload, based on actual requirements and budget
  • Hybrid model:
    Here we can undertake early project activities such as requirements analysis and high level design on a Fixed Price basis. In subsequent phases we transition to Time & Material pricing. We can also consider shared risk-reward contract types to implement incentives important to both parties to the engagement.  
  • Service Level Agreement model:
    For many services we can negotiate service level agreements. These are more typical in an Offshore Development Center engagement.
